The Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation,Franciscans Africa(JPIC-FA) is a Regional faith based organization which seeks to promote and nurture the reign of God through conscious prayer and action to transform the world in the spirit of the Gospel through lives of Justice, Peace and Care for our Common home .
We are inspired by our seraphic Father St Francis of Assisi the example par excellence of care for the vulnerable and of an integral ecology lived out joyfully and authentically, who lived a simple life by promoting justice to the marginalized, promoted peace and harmony through Interfaith Dialogue, patron of ecology who promoted environmental justice and integral ecology. He shows us just how inseparable the bond is between concern for nature, justice for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace.
In this regard the office has several programmes such as Human Rights and advocacy (on Social justice, climate justice, environmental Justice, Gender rights, rights of Marginalized communities), Interfaith dialogue, Laudato Si and Fratelli Tutti, Sustainable Development, Climate Change (Mitigation, Adaptation, Resilience and Risk Management), Awareness through Art and Entertainment, Tree planting.
